Visionary Realms has detailed a series of planned changes to Pantheon’s itemization and economic systems, with updates scheduled through early 2026. The published roadmap covers new features, system improvements, and technical milestones for the game’s next development phase.
The developers announced the ninth part of their Combat & Progression Update series on December 22, 2025. This publication outlined upcoming improvements to item handling, the introduction of a mail system, and the design of a player-driven market. The update also included a timeline for additional features set to arrive in the first half of 2026.
According to the published plan, the mail system will allow players to send messages, items, and in-game currency. The system will include delivery delays and transaction costs, and access will be limited to towns and cities within the game. This feature is intended to support secure exchanges between players.
The player market system is scheduled for spring 2026. The system will enable users to list items, participate in auctions, and submit purchase requests. The developers stated that the market will include regional restrictions and associated fees for transactions, shaping how items are bought and sold in-game.
What the numbers show
- Ninth update in the Combat & Progression series released December 22, 2025
- Player market system targeted for spring 2026
- Mail and market technical specifications finalized by February 6, 2026
Itemization changes will include the introduction of item binding, which will prevent many items from being traded or sold after they are equipped. However, these items may still be salvaged or sold to in-game vendors. Item tooltips are also set to display additional information, such as rarity and expanded statistics, to provide clearer details to players.
The spring 2026 Combat and Progression Update is planned to coincide with the release of the Badia de Cara zone. The update will also include a character reset, requiring players to restart their progress as part of the system overhaul.
Combat mechanics will be adjusted by removing the distinction between 'solo' and 'chevron' non-player characters. The update will increase the time required to defeat enemies and will implement a 'first to engage' rule for determining kill credit. These changes are intended to unify the combat experience across different encounters.
Character progression will expand to include both vertical and horizontal development paths. Skill caps per level will rise from +3 to +5, and new features such as technique evolution and a Mastery system will be added. These adjustments will provide additional options for player advancement.
By February 6, 2026, the technical specifications for the mail and market systems had been completed, and work on backend infrastructure had started. This development phase is intended to prepare the systems for testing on the Public Test Realm before full release.
